CDA Promotes Coppers Utility in Plumbing and Mechanical System at Expo for Thousands of Plumbing Industry Professionals
NEW YORK, NY— The Copper Development Association (CDA) is pleased to be exhibiting at the 2014 American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) Convention and Exposition next month – considered the industry’s largest plumbing product tradeshow in the country.
Plumbing engineers, plumbers, specifiers, contractors and designers will have the opportunity to learn how copper makes plumbing and piping systems more reliable, safe, sustainable and cost effective from CDA project managers during the two-day exposition, scheduled for September 22nd and 23rd in Chicago. Visit the CDA at booth #2416.
“As always, we look forward to discussing the value of copper in plumbing and mechanical systems with industry professionals from all over the country,” said Dale Powell, project manager and piping applications specialist for CDA. “The expo gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with engineers, contractors and plumbers who are specifiying and installing copper products and offer them advice on different plumbing applications.”
The 2014 ASPE Expo is a one-of-a-kind event that showcases innovations in plumbing system design—ranging from the latest plumbing products to design techniques. Attracting over 300 exhibiting manufacturers and suppliers, the expo offers thousands of industry professionals an educational experience with manufacturing engineers on-site to answer technical questions about their products and services.
While previous years boasted large numbers, ASPE officials predict that expo attendance will increase this year, not only because September marks their 50th Anniversary, but because of the regional opportunities in the Chicago area.
“The Copper Development Association has supported ASPE and their contributions to the plumbing industry for many years,” said CDA Vice President, Andrew Kireta, Jr. “this bi-annual gathering of the industry leaders at the ASPE Conference and Exposition offers a wonderful opportunity to showcase copper as an invaluable and durable resource for plumbing and HVAC applications. CDA is proud to be an affiliate member of ASPE and a platinum sponsor of the 2014 ASPE Convention and Exposition.
CDA offers various technical resources for plumbing professionals, including a series of how-to videos, which are designed to illustrate proper copper plumbing application techniques, and a Copper Tube Handbook app, which contains information about copper tube and piping systems, access to technical specifications, data or installation instructions. The app can be downloaded directly onto an iPad or iPhone as well as an Android device. For more information about CDA or copper piping applications, please visit copper.org.
The Copper Development Association is the information, education, market and technical development arm of the copper, brass and bronze industries in the USA.
