Optimization of Motor Design: Copper Metal Properties

It is recommended that alloys C10100 or C11000 be used for die-cast copper rotors. The excellent electrical conductivity of either of these alloys will produce a significant reduction in I ²R losses in the rotor's conductor bars as compared to standard electrical grade aluminum. The electrical properties of these two alloys are listed below.
