Music and Dancing

The Egyptians loved music and dancing, and many of their pictures show feasts with the musicians and dancers, but only a few of their instruments have been preserved. Some wooden flutes of a late date had bronze mouthpieces and ends; and bronze cymbals with their original linen cords have also survived. One great treasure is the famous copper trumpet which was found in the tomb of Tut-ankh-Amen, 1430 B.C.
