CRU will be hosting a shot gun golf outing on September 6th at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Course. Designed by the legendary Pete Dye and his son P.B Dye, Ruffled Feathers Golf Course offers 18 devilishly unique and demanding holes in a superbly crafted, simply gorgeous setting. As the only Dye-designed golf course in the Chicago area, this premium golf jewel has been hailed with Best New Course honors from Golf Digest and Golfweek magazines.

The genius of this must-play course is evident in the holes themselves; exquisitely sculpted fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water, and beautifully framed and contoured greens. If you love playing a championship caliber on a well-conditioned golf course, don’t miss this opportunity to play at Ruffled Feathers.

The shot gun start will begin at 1:30 PM. Players may choose their own foursomes. Beverage carts and box lunches will be provided. The cost of the outing is $85 per player, which includes green fees and cart. The dress code for this course is collared shirts required, no jeans/denims or cut-offs allowed.

From the Wyndham Drake:
Turn left out of hotel parking lot on to 22nd Street and proceed 1/4 mile west to Route 83.
Turn left on Route 83. You will be on Route 83 for approximately 11 miles to where 83 and 171 join.
Follow 83/171 South for 3 miles. Route 83 will split east (to the left)
- Stay on 171: Do not turn east (left) on 83
Turn south (left) on Derby Road to Ruffled Feathers Entrance.
We will be the second entrance on your left.

From the North (Chicago):
Take 294 to 55 South. Exit Route 83 South (Kingery Highway)
Route 83 will merge with 171 at approximately 103rd street.
Follow 83/171 South for 3 miles. Route 83 will split east (to the left)
- Stay on 171: Do not turn east (left) on 83
Turn south (left) on Derby Road to Ruffled Feathers Entrance.
We will be the second entrance on your left.

From the Northwest:
Take 355 South to 55 North
Take 55 North one mile to Lemont Road South
Turn left on Illinois Street two blocks
Turn right on Stephens for three miles
Turn right on Derby Road to Ruffled Feathers.

From the South:
Take any north to south road to 131st Street.
Take 131st Street West to Derby Road
Turn right on Derby to Ruffled Feathers entrance.
