Copper Nickel
INTRODUCTION TO APPLICATIONS
Cu-Ni alloys are widely used for marine applications due to their excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, high inherent resistance to biofouling and good fabricability. They have provided reliable service for several decades whilst offering effective solutions to todays technological challenges.
Properties and applications are also summarized in an Interactive Presentation with sound dialogue.
These pages are designed to provide a detailed overview of Cu-Ni with data which will allow good practices in design, fabrication and application. Major application areas are covered in detail with shortcuts to System Components and System Design; the latter includes a special section on Fittings. Supporting data and practices are available in Information and a comprehensive Reference section provides a wealth of further information. Many papers can be down-loaded while others can be obtained through the Copper Data Center.
